X Games 17: Real Street Starts Today!
For those of you that are interested, X Games 17 is set to start up today!. From X Games:
At X Games 17 — July 28-31 in Los Angeles — Real Street returns for its second year. Sixteen of the world’s best street skateboarders will submit 60-second video parts for a shot at $50,000 and an X Games gold medal. Chocolate Announces New AM Team
Chocolate Skateboards recently announced the addition of an all new AM team to their current roster. Elijah Berle, Raven Tershy and Stevie Perez have all been named to their AM team. Go Skateboarding Day Is Tomorrow! June 21st!
June 21st 2011 is the 8th anual “Go Skateboarding” day, a day that will be celebrated by skaters around the world. The official holiday of skateboarding began in 2003 with some simple BBQ and skating sessions in Southern California. From there it evolved into what you see today. Skateboarders in countries around the world will hold demos, fundraisers, signings, benefits, and some will just go out and skate.
