Raven Tershy Wins X-Games Skate Park

2011 Street League Arizona: Nyjah Gets The 3-Peat

This past weekend in Glendale, Arizona Nyjah Huston showed everyone he came to the Street League to dominate. After taking down the first two stops of the Street League in Seattle and Kansas City, Huston won the Arizona stop by nearly 12 points finishing with 77.8 points over all.

This latest Street League win with prize money totaling $150,000 puts Nyjah’s purse for the year at $450,000. The next stop for the Street League is August 28th at the Pruduential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Read more…

X Games 17: Real Street Starts Today!

For those of you that are interested, X Games 17 is set to start up today!. From X Games:

At X Games 17 — July 28-31 in Los Angeles — Real Street returns for its second year. Sixteen of the world’s best street skateboarders will submit 60-second video parts for a shot at $50,000 and an X Games gold medal. Competing this year are: Daewon Song, Tommy Sandoval, Dylan Rieder, Darrell Stanton, Joey Brezinski, Tom Asta, Anthony Schultz, Zered Bassett, Eli Reed, Brandon Westgate, Ryan Decenzo, Louie Barletta, Billy Marks, Silas Baxter-Neal, Tony Tave and Guru Khalsa. Nyjah Huston Wins Street League Kansas City

This past weekend Nyjah Huston posted his second straight win in Street League. With it Huston collected another $150,000 paycheck. The final round came down to the last seconds but Kansas City native Chris Cole, and Chaz Ortiz were unable to top Huston’s dominant Nollie Inward Heelflip off the top of the Big Section that locked the competition up.
